I have always known these as husk tomatoes but when I picked up my share today from #silverbrookfarms the farmers assistant called them #groundcherries. Perfect dessert/snack this evening and great name!

Spiced caramelized nuts. It’s been awhile since I attempted these and yes Will Goldfarb I cowboyed the first batch before looking for the ratio you told me years ago. Final results were great though. Tandoori spiced almonds, cayenne & fennel walnuts, and curry & chipotle pecans. (at TAMO Boston)
